Lavender Girl Summer (thank you social media for *everything core): a full sensory reset for the girlies who are tired of hard edges, dopamine decor, and their own bad decisions at the thrift store.
This blessed me so much! I had a very bold decor style and something in my spirit shifted to want all soft blue tones. Transitioning from my navy sofa and rust side chairs on a checkered rug. I just wanted soft. Felt like I didn’t want to lead with bold anymore. I wanted my life to look and feel soft for a change. Thank you so very much for this write up because it spoke to this random yet very sure shift I’ve been experiencing
Pleasantly unavailable and “vibe culture” as opposed to hustle culture!!! I’ve been so apologetic for not being available due to poor mental health the past few years and you’ve confirmed I absolutely do not need to do that. Like yea I wish I was able to hang more but ✨~oh well~ ✨also I’ve never related to hustle culture (even when I worked 3 jobs/6 days a week) lol I’m just a rest, do less person!
Cheering on your herb-starting! May I reccomend soaking the basil seeds in water before you put them in the soil? In my experience, they tend to germinate a bit better that way! (They look like a bunch of frog eggs after they soak up the water, but you can just plant the mass of seeds and gel, and mine have done pretty well)
Just to clarify, they look like frog eggs if you *do* soak them; I just wanted to let you know that is normal, and not a problem, if you do decide to soak them. I hope you have so much fun growing herbs; I love the experience of tending to baby plants, and I hope you do too!

Love that you just gave yourself permission to be unavailable!
This post arrived at the perfect time. Thank you for always crafting thoughtful newsletter.
Thank you for being here ❤️
Oh I loveeeee. I’m finally planting some herbs in my windowsill! I’ve been planning to do this for years.
Absolutely! What kind?
just looked back in my drawer at the seeds - I happen to have lavender. 🥹 definitely planting that. But also oregano, parsley, basil!
Yessss

Oh my gosh - thank you Liesel. This indeed will be my first time doing this, and my morale is at risk… can’t let them turn into frog eggs. 🙏🏾 Will do!

Yeah. Perhaps my planting problem is that I don’t read carefully. Lol. Thank you! I will keep you posted 🙏🏾
Definitely rearrange the living room so my plants can catch all of the vibes from the sun. They're thriving!
We love a plant queen
This chair in a plum linen, with quiet reading vibes in mind, was the best decision I’ve made in a long time. It’s my squishy sanctuary…
