This Room Keeps Failing And It's My Fault - Here's How I'm Going To Solve The Problem

I've been sitting on sharing my 3rd bedroom since moving to Palm Springs. Here's why, and here's what's actually going on in there!

The third bedroom in my home use to function as (gasp) a bedroom! As most of you know, my Palm Springs home started as a place I shared with the world. I lived here part time and rented it out the rest of the time. Since I was spending most of my time working in LA, all three bedrooms had to earn their keep as, well… bedrooms.

Once I was here full time, one guest room felt like enough, and I haphazardly decided the third bedroom would become my office. It's a decent sized room, about 10x12, with a large patio just through the sliding doors. There are a few awkward moments - like a little nook that was probably an original closet, and a large AC return vent placed inconveniently on the one flush wall. But all in all, it's a great space.
