Devastatingly Chic and Practical Fall Decor Pt 1

Perhaps it’s slightly shady to lean into talking about fall decor on Instagram months ago (mostly a cautionary tale) and waiting this close to Halloween to get into the thick of it here. We’ve all secured our pumpkins and mostly un-amusing Halloween decorations, haven’t we? Ok. Wonderful! Moving on.
As someone who generally wants seasonal decor to pull double duty - at least, making the house cozy, inviting and ready for company is much more concept than theme. When you inevitably circle back to attempt to make me eat my words during the Christmas Holiday - this post would have self destructed and there will be no evidence. Let’s talk cozy room by room, because we deserve it!
Cozy Kitchen
It’s giving, heart of the home and with that comes all of the cozy feels. When I think of a cozy kitchen, I think of dragging myself out of bed to make coffee in my favorite mug, following one of the 3500 soup recipes saved, puttering around nibbling on dinner party leftovers and refusing to turn on the big light.
Cozy Living room
There is nothing more cozy than curling up on the sofa with a blanket and the perfect pillows to rewatch your emotional support show for the 100th time. Again, no big lights. Lit candles, accent chairs to host guests and chic ottomans to put your feet up on.
These silk velvet tiger pillows are one of my greatest finds possibly ever. The quality is incredible and the under $25 price tag is mind boggling.
Cozy Bathroom
Can the bathroom be cozy? Um, yes! The time we spend showering, bathing, doing our skincare etc. (wink) is time that should be enjoyed to whatever degree possible! A cozy bathroom is warm when it’s cold outside. If we don’t have the luxury of heated floors - think, a soft lovely rug. Things to make a bath time absolutely luxurious, cue hydrating olive oil soaps, a chic tray to hold your laptop for bathtub movie time, the perfect robe - you get the vibes.
