A Winter Blues Wish List
A slightly unhinged approach to shorter days, a need for cozy feelings and currently being ruled by my Taurus rising aka: give me luxury NOW.
Most of you know that I live in Palm Springs. So, you might be like “winter blues?? Kellie, go to hell” and I respect that lol. But the days are short, it does in fact rain in Southern California we are living in the 12th ring of hell - as a society.
All of my friends on the east coast are dressed in floor length fur coats and that’s bringing me joy. I don’t want to be in the -23 degree weather (Chicago, are yall alright?!) and today I saw a post where someone said they woke up in Moscow Queens NY haha. While my weather might be mild, there’s still a bit of the wtf’s pulsing through my body.
This began with my search for a swoon worthy throw blanket that would both visually and physically give me the feels. Then I thought about other things that that felt thrilling and this list was born. Just staring at it gets my blood flowing. I did lean into my desires and order a few things but, feel free to just share in the browsing experience.
This list is based off of my deepest desires to be cozy, cute and eatin’ good. The levels to which I find this tie dye throw absolutely perfect are wild. I’ve also been missing the fireplace in my LA apartment desperately and have been tossing around a few ideas for something portable or if I want to just full out get something installed.
There’s also the need for deep restorative sleep (always) so I’m really leaning into wellness moments red light therapies. This Helight Sleep Protocol aide is so interesting. Red light therapy and rechargeable? Kind of a win.
This electric tea kettle was an absolute fall favorite but now I’m calling it a winter essential! Also essential, gorgeous high quality teas to brew. Micro plastics not included.
